How I Control My Spending at Hair Salon

For this post, I am going to share how I control my spending at the hair salon.

Hard to control spending at the hair salon

Firstly, I am not a shopaholic. I don’t buy a lot of expensive and branded shoes, bags and other stuff. But, I notice that I hardly control my spending when I went to the hair salon.

There is always a way for the hair salon staff to persuade me to spend my money away.

If they failed to persuade me of an expensive hair treatment, they will share with me the benefits of their products.

For the past few years, I had bought several expensive hair treatment creams, hair loss tonic, scalp care creams and some styling products. But, to be honest, I hardly use them.

Learning to spend smartly

So, for my recent trip to the hair salon, I purchased hair shampoo at a bargain at RM80. Actually, it is a buy 1 get 1 free bargain.

At least, I can use the shampoo every day. After all, I still need to buy shampoo over the counter.

From that trip onwards, I decided to be more cautious about spending on unnecessaries products and items. Thus, I decided to only buy the products when I need them.

And not because the promoter advises me to buy from them.

How about you? How do you control your unhealthy spending habits?
