How to Check PTPTN Statement or PTPTN Balance?

a piggy bank wearing a mortarboard.

In this post, I will share my personal experience on how to check the PTPTN statement or PTPTN balance.

I started to pay my study loan from Perbadanan Tabung Tinggi Pendidikan Nasional (PTPTN) since I received the first letter from PTPTN to inform me to start paying my study loan.

That was a few months after my graduation.

I was considered lucky as I got employed right after I graduated. So, there is no problem for me to start my PTPTN loan repayment.

Along the way, I lost track of my PTPTN loan repayment records. At the same time, I also need to check whether my loan repayment was updated according to or if there is any payment missed out.

How to check the PTPTN statement or PTPTN balance

After done some reading and searching on PTPTN main website, I later found out that I can easily check my PTPTN statement from the PTPTN epay (This is for Pinjaman Pendidikan Konventional (3%) only).

You will need to key in your NRIC number (12 digits without space, for example, 800412135522) and your study loan number (Nombor Pinjaman).

If you forgot your study loan number, you may call, email or SMS PTPTN and the details is on the PTPTN epay website. Alternatively, you may refer to my sharing on how to check the PTPTN pin number.

Once login, you will be able to see the complete statement of PTPTN loan repayment records. You will also be able to see the balance left.

For those who opted for the Ujrah (1%), you may check the PTPTN statement on another PTPTN website. Honestly, I have never logged in to the Ujrah statement.

In case you’ve successfully logged in, perhaps can share your experience here.

Lastly, don’t forget to make your monthly PTPTN study loan repayment.

  2. Hello, how do I know if the PTPTN already bank in the money in my account? I don't know how to check. Will they notified me after they bank in, or won't?

  3. Hi Trisch, I think you need to check your bank account. From what I remember, for my case, there's no notification but my University did informed me that the PTPTN money already bank-in.

  4. I'd cleared my payment 2 years ago and I still receiving "notis tunggakan" once in a while in few cents… so angry

  5. Hi Lenian, sorry to hear about that.. I believe the 'notis tunggakan' is auto generated. It wont care how much the balance, whether a few ringgits or a few cents, it will be still send out automatically. Better if you can clear the few cents at nearest PTPTN office. Hope this helps
