How to Top Up Manulife PRS Online

In this post, I will share how to top up Manulife PRS online through Maybank2u.

How to top up Manulife PRS?

To start with, I can top-up my Manulife PRS using the options below:

Write a cheque to Manulife Investment and walk in to the nearest Manulife Investment branch office or service centre;

I choose the second option, which is to top up my Manulife PRS through online banking.

Since I am a Maybank2u user, so it is much easier to top-up my Manulife PRS Investment through MBB online banking.

Actually, you will be able to find the guidelines on online payment on the Manulife Investment Management (M) Bhd website.

In fact, the steps are similar. Just that for PRS investment, I’ll need to select Manulife Investment Management (M) Bhd (PRS Pension).

So, instead of key-in the investment account number, I need to key in my full name (as per NRIC) and my NRIC number.

According to my advisor, the system will automatically top-up based on full name and NRIC number.

So, to be on the safe side, I also email the payment receipt to my advisor.

In which, I saw she sent the slip to the Manulife PRS team to ensure proper updates of my PRS top-up.

A few days after I completed my online transfer, I saw my investment had been updated accordingly in my PRS statement.

If you are not a Maybank2u user, you still can make an online GIRO transfer to the Manulife Asset Management Services Bhd Maybank account.

For that purpose, you may request the Manulife PRS Maybank account number from your advisor.

In summary, top-up my Manulife PRS through online makes the whole process easier, faster and less hassle.

Compared with paying through cheques or cash to Manulife. Which can be quite troublesome, incur additional charges and be risky too.
