Do you know where to find cheap baby clothes in Malaysia?
Since I am upgraded to ‘mummy‘ status in June 2016, I noticed that I have spent quite a lot on my baby.
Based on sharing on the cost of having a baby, a big chunk of this spending goes to my baby clothes.
During the first few months of my motherhood journey, I used to go to baby shops in Kuching for baby clothes. I found some cheap baby clothes but the quality is unacceptable. And good quality baby clothes come with high price tags.
Those with babies will know how fast a baby can grow and within a few months these expensive clothes will no longer fit in.
So, it is not easy to find cheap but good quality baby clothes in Kuching.
Then, when my baby is about 1 year old, I started to research online shopping. And I found Shopee.
After some browsing, I ordered my first item, a set of Carter baby romper through Shopee.
Within a few days, I received the item.
I was very happy with the quality and not to mention the price and the speed of the delivery process as well.
From my first purchase onward, I frequently browse Shopee and since then ordered quite a number of baby clothes through Shopee.
Why I prefer Shopee?
These are the reasons why I love to buy my baby clothes and other items through Shopee:
1. Reasonable price
On Shopee, there are many sellers selling the same item at different prices.
Sometimes, there is a huge difference between the lowest and highest price. But, I would say it is easy to compare prices on Shopee.
Under the same item, you will be able to see different prices stated. As a smart user, I think we also need to have a rough estimation of the price.
Be extra careful when the item is too low or too high. I love looking at the ‘Rating’ parts. This is where the previous buyers put a rating on the item purchased.
Personally for me, this ‘Rating’ is a big influence whether I will buy the item or not.
2. Good quality
The quality of the baby clothes is properly written on the specs.
But again, I still love to refer to the ‘Rating’ parts. There are quite a lot of active users providing genuine feedback.
Usually, I will browse through a number of the item with their ‘Rating’ before confirming my purchase.
3. Free delivery
As advertised, Shopee provides free delivery within Malaysia but of course with terms and conditions.
For baby clothes which I purchased, the free delivery is only applicable for an order which is more than RM30.
For orders less than RM30, there is a small shipping charge (depends on location and weight of items).
I am still happy with the small shipping fee and am more than willing to pay for it.
4. Prompt and safe delivery
At the moment, Shopee’s delivery agent for Kuching is mainly Pos Laju and J&T Express. They are not only prompt but secure as well.
With these delivery agents, I can have peace of mind on the delivery service.
So far I am very happy with the service provided by both delivery companies.
I noticed that mostly the same delivery person delivered my items from Shopee and they will call me if no at home to receive the package.
This makes the delivery process much smoother.
5. Prompt feedback
There was one time whereby one seller took quite a long time to process my item.
So, I contacted the Shopee support team and within the same day, the seller processed my item.
I am happy and satisfied with the prompt support from the Shopee team.
6. Return or refund features
On Shopee, a buyer can return damaged or wrong items to the seller. Once a cancellation is confirmed, the money will be refunded to the buyer.
There might be some fees involved but can always contact the Shopee support team for further advice.
So far I have not encountered any return or refund items. I do notice these features appears on most of the items that I ordered.
7. Coins rewards
Lastly, Shopee has coins rewards for its customer. For every Ringgit I spend on Shopee, I will receive 1 Shopee coin.
And I get to redeem these coins when I buy from Shopee Preferred Seller or Official Shop.
This is additional savings on top of the reasonable price.
Final thoughts
Overall, I really enjoy my Shopee shopping session. Since I am upgraded to ‘mummy’, I also have limited time for shopping at the local departmental store.
With Shopee, I can shop at my convenient time, which is usually when my baby is asleep at night. Shopee helps me save my time and money.
Most important is I can find good quality and cheap baby clothes at Shopee.
