Investing in Indonesian Fund

A hand holding a bunch of Indonesian currency, the Rupiah notes.

Recently, I started investing in Indonesian Fund. Actually, I switched a small amount of my other unit trust investment to the Indonesian Fund.

Why I started investing in Indonesian Fund

I share the reasons below on why I switched a portion of my investment to an Indonesian fund.

1. I wish to diversify my portfolio

Firstly, in investment, among the famous golden rules would be, do not put all your eggs in one basket. Thus, I am putting some of my eggs in a different basket.

2. New President, Jokowi

Secondly, I hope for a better Indonesia and a more stable economy under new leadership and new management, President Jokowi.

3. High population

Thirdly, Indonesia is among the world top countries with the highest populations. The populations keep growing. And a big portion of the population is young generations.

Thus, I foresee these youngsters will create huge economic growth too.

4. Low entry

Lastly, at the time of my switching, the fund unit is quite low. I hope to purchase more units and gain some profits from there.

I look forward to a brighter Indonesia market outlook next year and in the years to come.
