These 6 Malaysian personal finance bloggers had somehow influenced my personal finance decision in a good way.

Let’s check out how they contributed to my personal finance journey (in alphabetical order, except the first one).

Personal Finance Blogger #1: Suraya from Ringgit Oh Ringgit

Ladies first. So, the first on my list is Suraya from Ringgit Oh Ringgit. I love the special way Suraya presented her writings. Every time I read her post, I feel like she’s right in front of me, talking to me in person.

To be honest, I learned a lot from her sharing on her personal finance blog. Especially on the topics below:

Her genuine and honest sharing of the two topics above has tremendously guided me in my freelancing and investing in Bitcoin journey.

Thank you, Suraya for your guidance and generous tips.

Personal Finance Blogger #2: Aaron from Mr-Stingy

Aaron is good at sharing the emotional side of money-related matters.

Some of his blog posts which I find very insightful are:

I find the second link above where Aaron shares the lessons from his blogging life very inspiring.

As a blogger myself, I relearn the importance of being persistent, the power of the feedback loop and getting involved in the community.

I can relate when Aaron said he probably spent 50% of his time finishing an article on editing and rewriting. He got the point when he said to think of it as respecting the readers’ time and attention.

Thank you, Aaron, for this insightful and valuable sharing. Your articles gave me a big boost to keep writing.

Personal Finance Blogger #3: CF Lieu from HowToFinanceMoney

There are just too many informative, insightful and most importantly independent views on CF Lieu’s personal finance blog.

Among the posts which made me glued to it and read till the last sentence (including comments) are:

His sharing on that medical card post alone attracted many readers. You can tell from the long comments list that many readers find this particular post very informative, helpful and eye-opening too.

Besides his personal finance blog, CF Lieu also published many interesting and useful personal financial-related videos on his youtube channel.

One of my favourites is the 10 medical card criteria we need to know.

Thank you, CF, for all the hard work and time spent on the medical card comparison in Malaysia. And I appreciate your independent view, especially on insurance and medical card matter.

Personal Finance Blogger #4: KC Lau from KCLau.com

Next, I enjoy reading KC’s up-to-date and informative sharing of his personal finance blog. In fact, he is among the pioneer of personal finance bloggers in Malaysia.

Currently, he hosts a lot of free but valuable training through his webinar session. In which he invites and gathers the experts for that particular webinar session.

As a subscriber to his personal finance blog, I read most of the emails he sent. And his sharing below particularly influenced me:

On most of his blog posts, he received many questions from his readers. And he replied to most of the questions with good and sound advice.

Thank you, KC, for always sharing the latest updates on the financial matter. And for the valuable webinar session with the experts.
